World Museums with good collections online:

Prado, Spain
50 greatest works available, browse by museum room. Save images by right clicking and choosing "add to favorites." Delete the http in the "name" area and type in the name that you want. Or, a detailed search (not all with images) of the collections may be done from here. This site is slow.
Rijksmuseum, Netherlands
Choose "collection" at the top and then "1250 Major Exhibits" on the side. Not possible to bookmark a specific page. Huge, detailed zoom is possible, and THAT can be saved with a right click choosing favorites. Also, the regular sized images can be saved that way.
.British Museum
Particularly good with world cultures. Choose "Compass" to see individual works. The "tours" are well done and include many works in each. You may save links to large images only and they are super. When you are on a large image page, right click and choose "add to favorites."
